Copyright 2006 Snakes Bull Snake Bull snakes are big eaters, they eat rabbits, squirrels, and mice. They like other small mammals. They also eat birds. Bull snakes live in the woods and desert areas. They do not move to fast so we do lose a lot of them due to the fact they like to bask in the sun and can not get out of the way of cars quickly enough. Little to everyone's knowledge bull snakes actually help us out, they keep the rodent population down. If you do see one do not kill it, they are not at all poisonous but if they are annoyed they will bite.
